In our sacred land of Srivilliputhur resides Andal Nachiyar, a symbol of the town. We are now embarking on a new endeavor to establish the Vaishnavi Devi Temple, a significant honor for Srivilliputhur. This temple will not only serve as a Vaishnavite pilgrimage site but will also house deities such as Shiva, Durga, Saraswati, Varahi, Kalabhairava, Vinayaka, Muruga, Perumal, along with a main shrine for Vaishnavi Devi, a grand Rajagopuram (tower), and surrounding walls.
The temple will feature an annadhanam hall for around 700 people, restrooms, special rooms for pilgrims, a meditation hall, and more. The entire construction will be funded through the generous donations of devotees like you. The estimated cost for this grand project is 40 crores and 59 lakhs rupees. We earnestly request your assistance in contributing materials or money towards the construction of this temple for Sri Vaishnavi Devi.
Currently, the only dedicated temple for Sri Vaishnavi Devi is in Katra, Kashmir. There are no similar temples in Tamil Nadu, nor are there temples where Vaishnavi, Durga, and Saraswati are enshrined together. This new temple will fulfill the wishes of many devotees who find it challenging to travel to Katra. It will be constructed following Hindu Agama traditions, featuring separate shrines for Sri Vaishnavi Devi, Durga, and Saraswati, and a special pond for Bhagavathi Amman to grace her devotees.
We humbly request your support in making this vision a reality by contributing whatever you can in terms of materials or money.
